How to Treat Irritable Bowel When IBS Foods Don't Work

Are you still looking for the right combination of foods to relieve your Irritable Bowel? Dietetic approaches are often recommended as the best treatment for IBS, but many find that IBS foods do not work for them. Some people find that they can safely eat "approved" foods one day but respond with symptoms later.

Why is this happening? What happen? The answer is a bit obvious, but once you know it, you'll understand how to treat your bowel symptoms. Maybe put an end to them.

Paying attention to food is valuable but it's just an IBS puzzle. And sometimes it's not the most important piece. That's because, according to evidence from recent trauma research, Irritable Bowel doesn't start in your gut but in your brain.

In fact, according to an excellent neurologist, Dr. Robert Scaer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a result of the trauma your brain experiences. This explains why you can have all kinds of gastro symptoms even though your diagnostic test shows no damage to the intestines and intestines.

Dr. Scaer defines trauma as any experience where you feel that your life is at risk and that you are helpless to do so. Some clear examples of this are in car accidents, wars or natural disasters.

The real problem occurs when the brain and body fail to release the traumatic event and continue to act as if it were still happening! This triggers a cycle of digestive problems in people suffering from IBS.

Fortunately, it is possible to release traumatic memories and end the cycle.

To do this, Dr. Scaer recommends mind-body healing techniques such as Dr Peter Levine's Somatic Experience or Gary Craig's Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Dr Belix uses Trauma Release (TRE), a process he teaches worldwide. Dr David Servan-Schreiber proposes EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Remodeling. All of these methods are very effective in releasing stored trauma. The body can then recover.

This is not an easy answer to treat Bowel obstruction, but the fact is, there is no easy answer. IBS is a complex condition.

To treat bowel disease when IBS foods do not require:
- clean up old trauma with one of the methods mentioned above
- Eat healthy food
- Control food sensitivities and allergies so you know what IBS foods will work for you
- Restores the internal environment of the digestive tract with appropriate probiotics and supplements
- Avoid antibiotics, artificial sweeteners, and chemical toxins
- be very proactive about your health

When you do this, it may seem like a lot of work at first. It's okay. It's worth it! (And it will be easier once you complete the learning curve.) Once you take this action, you can clear your bowel symptoms. Instead of years of physical and emotional suffering, you will enjoy a lifetime of good health.
