The Different Forms of Creatine

Creatine comes in many forms such as pills, liquids, and powders. So what's the difference? Why is creatine powder so popular? Does one form have more side effects than the next and is one more effective than the next? This is a question you should ask yourself before considering using any health supplement, not just creatine.

Aside from the major differences between them which are the existing form, there is little difference between them. Creatine powder is very easy to use, you just mix it with juice and drink. That doesn't mean you won't experience some side effects. Side effects include upset stomach, muscle cramps, diarrhea and dehydration although this can be avoided by drinking lots of water when you use creatine.

As for pills, once again very easy to use, you only take pills. The only thing with pills is, your body needs about 3.5-5 grams of creatine, so if you want to change the dose you get from 5 grams of pills to just 4 grams, you're still stuck taking 5 grams because in fact " pre-packaged "forms of creatine, as applied to powders, where you can change the dose daily if you wish.

With liquid creatine, you get the same results as powder when using less creatinine. The main drawback of using creatine is that if it is mixed with the liquid, you have about 20 minutes before it turns into creatinine which is a waste product that is discarded from your body. If creatine remains stable in the liquid, it will remain as creatinine monohydrate and it will still be very effective.

After all that is said and done, you really need to see what your purpose for using creatine is because choosing one form can make you doubt the whole ordeal and you can just tell yourself to forget it. The decision is entirely up to you whether you want to use another form, but keep in mind that you want to make the most accurate decision you can make before choosing what you want to use.

On a side note, I personally have used bsn no creatine xplode and no complaints. My only suggestion is to make sure you read the nutritional value of any creatine you choose to use.
