Weight Loss by Drinking One of the World's Most Popular Beverages - Tea

Forget fasting, starvation diets and heavy workouts. Weight loss can be as easy as a cup of tea a few times a day, as it has become a popular hobby in the western world. This seems like an ideal solution for the perfect body, but there is one catch.

There are several types of tea available on the market and the most common is black tea. And I know for sure that this is a really popular British tea that gets over 165 million cups a day!

Catch it

Unfortunately, as much as we (especially Brits) love black tea we have to move towards more exotic tea varieties including Green, Oolong, Pu-erh, Porangaba, Okinawan, Feiyan, and some herbs. All of these provide the following benefits.

Improve metabolism

Replacing a regular cup of black tea with a cup of green tea has been shown to significantly increase the body's metabolic rate and thus accelerate weight loss. Pur-erh tea has also shown similar effects on metabolism.

Increase Energy Level

Porangaba tea has recently been shown, especially in the media, to have a dramatic effect on energy levels while suppressing appetite, thus making it easier to shift the excess pounds.

Health and Longevity

Okinawan tea has always been promoted for its health benefits, as Okinawa people are known for having one of the longest lives in the world and having little problem with obesity. Obviously, this may not all come down to them drinking tea as they also have a nutritious diet full of fish and vegetables. However, tea will definitely play a role in their slim and longevity.

Cholesterol and Body Detox

Feiyan tea is made with several different ingredients including lotus leaves, cania seeds, vegetable sponge and green tea. It has several advantages such as reducing inflammation and detoxifying the body and possibly lowering fat and blood cholesterol levels.

Herbs

Herbal tea, which includes dandelions or dandelions, can help remove excess water and thus reduce weight. Fennel, which is also found as a secondary ingredient in many herbal teas, has appetite boosting properties that help with your weight loss program.

As you can see tea has many benefits to losing weight but remember it is only part of your weight loss journey. Just drinking tea will not have a significant effect on your weight loss, as this can only be achieved by participating in a weight loss program. Of course whether you are in a weight loss program or not drinking tea is always good!
