These things can cause injuries and illnesses when these self-repair mechanisms lack the emotional, physical, and spiritual support to function properly.

This is the truth meter. Your nervous system has a natural physical protection system - a "struggle or flight" stress response controlled by the sympathetic nervous system and a relaxation response controlled by the parasympathetic nervous system. It's only when your nervous system is in a relaxed mode that your body's repair mechanism works!

I'm sorry. fight or flight ' Stress responses have been developed to protect you from harm. But today, we were safe enough to be in danger, but our stressful strike triggered, on average, more than 50 times a day. How is it?   • Cortisol is a steroid hormone, commonly known as as a stress hormone is produced by the adrenal glands.

Step 2: Find the Right Support

Your holistic practitioner may provide you with a type of migraine diagnosis or a bowel syndrome or breast cancer, for example. But the kind of diagnosis I talk about getting root can trigger a stress response in your body and deactivate your body's healing mechanism, thus giving you the symptoms to indicate something is wrong.

What aspects of your life have shaped your stress response? What a relaxing activity - such as meditation, unique personal expressions, laughs, engaging in work that inspires you and you love, massaging, yoga, playing with animals, nature, including being near fire and water. What are you ignoring?

Symptoms are just a wake-up call, which forces you to get down and serious about what is really going on in your life. You can play the victim or you can use the symptoms as an opportunity to stimulate emotional and spiritual growth.
