The Balance Diet Diet is a weight loss book by Marcelle Pick that has reached its milestone. One of the founders of the first women's clinic in the US she knows how to work with women to improve their health and nutrition.

In your diet, you can eat 6 times a day and the emphasis is on good and fresh foods. The calorie ratio should be 30% fat, 30% protein, 40% carbohydrate. This book tries to help you get back to your main body balance by eliminating the 6 imbalances that Marcelle Pick identifies that may cause you to lose weight or not be able to withstand it.

While this book certainly has merit, it is not without its faults. Therefore, in this article I want to explore the pros and cons of Core Balance Diet so that you know whether or not it works for you.

  • This program requires design of foods that may be problematic and may not suit their individual character.

  • Defenders take supplements that can increase program costs.

  • It works especially for women so men should find other solutions.
