6 Reasons Why Calorie Counting is Rubbish

Whenever you think about losing fat, the first thing that pops up in your head is reducing your daily calories, calculating the amount of calories you have in one day, and hell seeing the government guidelines have given you that.

Now this article will tell you how to calculate calories actually waste and can even induce neurotic, obsessive compulsive behaviors.

When clients talk to me about personal training, two questions always come up, so the whole book can be aimed at them! They are "How many calories do I need to eat?" and "What is the best diet to follow?"

This is a surprise; Calorie counting will NOT cause you to lose serious long-term fat.

The point system and calorie counting work in the short term, I know enough people who have done it, but they do not necessarily encourage long term changes and have a healthy eating plan with them. Let's look at weight gainers as an example: How can chocolate cake really be a healthy solution? But hey as long as it's all you eat all day because that's all your eyes eat, that's OK ... That's right !!!

And for the replacement of their low points, don't get me started; go see the ingredient list, hey I'm sure all artificial sweeteners are really god for you, honestly ...

How many people have tried a weight loss diet, or some other alternative and seen the results, but the second you get bored, hungry or want "real food", you put it all away? It works for you, right? I thought you were starting to see where I was going; It's all trash!

Here's my list of reasons why calorie counting will fail in the long run:

- Calorie counting does not encourage supportive foods: As I said earlier, some systems allow you to eat what you want as long as you do not exceed your daily or calorie allowance. Some of these materials do not support your body and may actually cause you to go into storage mode. You will depend on all the fat you have and actually start to save more body fat, your body will slow down, become fatigued and look for other sources of energy (usually muscle) once again slowing down your metabolism (storing more fat) and leaving you are exposed to illness and injury.

- Calorie counting is very tedious: On average, people eat all their eyes or calories allowance that day, then starve later and gorge on other foods. Feel guilty and start the cycle again tomorrow and move on.

- Calorie counting is stressful, complicated and can lead to neurotic behavior: You spend more time worrying about what foods have calories, weighing exactly 0.0000001 grams and really miss eating points; to provide nutritious foods that help promote repair and growth in the body; Not to mention it takes all the fun out of enjoying your food, neurotic, never.

- Calorie counting does not encourage long-term change: Do you want to spend the rest of your calories? Where happiness is lost from eating a supportive food. Is this the healthiest way to live? Let's face it there are easy and easy ways to follow.

- Calorie counting is general and not specific to individual needs: I mean, we're all 25 years old, 6 & # 39; 2 & # 39 ;, 70kg men (women) right? No! Wait do you mean that people are naturally unique and therefore may need individually tailored nutrition, kind of like exercise. The expression of a man's food is another mansion's poison.

- Calorie counting doesn't care about your metabolic type: Metabolic typing is a branch of science that breaks you down into 3 types (carbohydrates, proteins or mixtures), then processes the best nutrient ratio for the type and then looks at how each time can be broken down again, again more individual and specific to each person in need.

That's why Calorie counting does NOT work, there are actually safer and more effective ways to lose weight that have the same short-term fat loss results but also encourage healthier and more effective long-term changes.
