Dr. Osama Hafni, consultant of physiotherapy and obesity treatment, answers: The minimum needs of the individual food varies according to age, sex and activity and in general by calculating normal activity, an adult man needs calories about 40-50 calories per kilogram of body weight. It is reduced to 35 after the age of 60 and increases to 60 in adolescence.

As for adult women, they need calories about 30-40 calories per kg of their body weight, less than 28 after the age of 60 and up to 50 in adolescence, and pregnant women increase their calorie needs during pregnancy. On daily needs 900 calories.
