The McDonald's Diet - How I Lost 14 Lbs in 30 Days Eating Nothing But McDonald's

At first glance you might think this book is a publicity stunt by McDonald's, or at least a chain attempt to undo the damage caused by my super size movie.

It wasn't, and in fact McDonald's not involved in any way with the writing, marketing or even the idea behind the book. Even burgers on the cover aren't McDonald's burgers because they have strict copyright issues with anything related to their brand.

This is a book written by Mark Austin, a certified personal trainer and performance nutrition expert working in his Switzerland-based gym.

Mark Austin specializes in rapid and sustainable weight loss based on a 27-year training and diet regime that has been refined for 27 years in the health and fitness industry. The waiting list for the gym says it all, and once you get in, you have to pull your weight to talk, or you politely ask to leave, to make way for the next desperate customer.

The motivation behind this book is the answer to all the reasons Mark has given his customers over the years to prevent weight loss: There's nothing else to eat at the restaurant ... It's a special occasion ... it's cooked specifically for I ... I don't want to offend the host ... Don't have time ... etc, etc.

He decided to write a book to show that even if you don't eat anything except fast food for a month, you can still lose weight based on your fast-paced diet and exercise program three times a week.

How to use this book

My recommendation is that you read twice to understand the dynamics of weight loss based on dietary requirements and associated with a progressive exercise program. Examine training pictures and watch videos accompanying almost all of the exercises on the given site.

The book is written in an engaging and easy-to-understand conversational style, with all the facts supported by experts or the findings of the research listed behind. All non-everyday terms are explained as they are used and followed by a glossary in the background.

Next, assuming that your doctor has cleared you for both a new diet and exercise regime, take the book to the nearest gym and check-in or check-in. Follow the training pictures and record your progress in the training schedule provided. On the way home, stop at McDonald's which is easy and order your first meal for the next 30 days.

It is better to exercise properly at a lower weight than to overweight with excessive weight being used in the wrong way. If you are not ready for weight, you can start at home doing flexibility and mobility exercises. The instructions that label the picture are very clear and provide some variation of exercises based on your fitness and flexibility. Once you have mastered the exercises easily, it's time to "move on" to the next level. Need something easier? You can "loosen" the level, too.

Advantages of eating McDonald's

The main advantage of placing food to eat at a standard source is that there is no unintentional fraud. McDonald's is a clear choice as there are many branches in every major city.

Dieting has traditionally been associated with deficiencies while "eating out" is associated with treating. The main reason people eat is for simplicity and convenience. No need to buy, prepare and consider "diet foods" is already a lifesaver and a psychological boost.

If you place an order out of McDonald's you can't have a diet, right? So it eliminates all the good family, friends and co-workers waiting to tell you that you will fail, again. It tastes good and there are many variations. Each item on your diet has a calorie count so no calculations are needed.

Food is something to keep in mind instead of testing your creativity with a limited number of low fat options.

In conclusion

The McDonald's Diet is a slim 225 page book (67 pages consisting of exercise pictures) that fits easily into the gym and in life. This is one of the few books I've seen that gives the same page space to both exercise and diet - two components that are an important part of any weight loss program.

It covers some of the most important pages in weight loss, pre and nutrition work and the reasons why yo-yo diets don't work and are harmful to your mental and physical health. The reason it can be so simple and affordable is that no space has been wasted on the recipe - your food is waiting for you at your earliest convenience. It's written for people who are serious about wanting to lose weight - without harming their health. It's on Amazon for $ 14.

So now it's up to you.
