Salt-based fluids will be injected into the treatment area after the anesthetic has taken effect. Then the surgeon will empty the fat using a vacuum connected can by moving it back and forth.
2. Dry liposuction
Same as wet liposuction above except no fluid is injected into the area. It has weaknesses that may cause more bleeding and bruising than wet liposuction.
3. Liposuction ultrasound
Ultrasound is used to break down fat in areas with hard fat like back. The ultrasonic sound waves emitted from the scope and not the canula, will melt the fat and inhale it. Waves break down fat cells and turn them into fluid ready for suction. There is less bruising because it is less mechanical.
