Types of Diabetes Discussed

Diabetes or Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which blood sugar levels or glucose levels are higher than normal. People with diabetes may have frequent urine, usually hunger or thirst. High blood glucose is usually due to insufficient insulin supply or the body does not respond to insulin at all.

TYPES OF DIABETES

1. TYPE 1 Diabetes

Type 1 Diabetes is common in adolescents, young adults or those before the age of 40. Type 1 diabetes is also called adolescent diabetes. It is also a group of people who depend on insulin or just inject insulin for the rest of their lives. It is also prescribed by doctors that someone suffering from type 1 diabetes must carry blood test equipment with them at all times.

2. TYPE 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is a condition in which the body does not respond to insulin, also known as insulin. This type of diabetes can be controlled with weight loss, a proper diet, lots of exercise and glucose monitoring. If not monitored closely, type 2 diabetes can cause type 1 diabetes whereby a person becomes insulin dependent.

People who are obese and overweight are at higher risk for diabetes. Abdominal fats and fats in the body release chemicals that cause cardiovascular disease and metabolic problems.

3. Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes is diabetes that occurs during pregnancy. If the mother does not monitor her nutrition, high glucose levels may occur during pregnancy and may lead to diabetes. Gestational diabetes can cause complications during childbirth, both for infants and mothers. Pregnancy diabetes can only be diagnosed during pregnancy.

No matter what type of diabetes you are worried about, everything can be prevented by eating a diet, exercise or moderate by just keeping your health. In fact, people with diabetes often include diets, exercise and dietary supplements to maintain normal glucose levels or even at least reduce the effects of high glucose levels on their body systems. Unfortunately, diabetes is not only present in adolescents, young adults and adults but also in infants. Just like the third type of diabetes - Gestational diabetes.

Life is hard for these kids because they can't eat the food they love or even drink their favorite juice because of the sugar in it. This is another reason why women keep their glucose levels at a normal level to prevent Gestational diabetes during pregnancy. The risk will not only affect their children but also them - the mothers.

Past research has conducted laboratory tests on the mouse. Mouse A has normal testosterone levels while mouse B has lower testosterone levels. Research has shown that lower testosterone levels may put the mouse at risk for insulin resistance. Therefore, in older men with low testosterone levels there is a higher risk of developing diabetes than younger men and men with normal testosterone levels.

A doctor at Edinburgh University's Endocrinology Unit - Dr. Kerry Mclnnes - says that men with low testosterone are really at risk for diabetes and regardless of age.

People today should always be aware of their health. These types of diabetes can be prevented by consuming the right foods, lots of exercise and even taking supplements that are trusted. There are people who suffer from diabetes but are able to maintain their glucose levels by adopting the aforementioned methods - diet, exercise and supplements. Don't try to delay your health program because time is not limited to having or having problems with your glucose level. It is best to start a support group that will help you succeed with your diet and exercise plan.

There is no best time to start a health plan or program but Right Now.
