5 Best Way to Memorize Things While You Study

Oh, we remember how busy the weekend was! Whether you're in high school or even approaching the end of your college career, most people will agree that any kind of exams will knock the most confident and prepared student nerves.

One of the worst things that some students will do is prepare for multiple choice exams when they need to study for an essay exam. Knowing and studying the exam format can be the key to getting yourself ready for the exam.

Similarly, there are many unique ways to memorize material as you study! Following a few simple tips can make the test easier and also make your life less distracting.

This prevents any stress, negative mentality, fatigue, and so on from knowing that you have enough time to study.

1. Don't open things you already know.

The biggest mistake we see students as they begin to study for their final exams is reviewing course information they already know like the topics covered in previous exams 1 and 2. I hope you can agree with me that there is a lot of information to discuss in in each of your courses ... Do not waste your time and effort in pursuing a basic understanding or concept that you should have learned.

Sit in a quiet area with your notes from class to desk. Next, highlight all the chapters you don't understand. This is the first step in reviewing ... With this in mind, you can focus and prioritize your time in areas where you need to review.
Be sure to check out the textbook (including chapter tests) or PowerPoint slides provided in your course. By doing so, you need to have a solid understanding of the parts you need to attack the most.

Currently evaluate the material and compare it with the study guide or exam review provided to you by your professor while trying to disseminate subjects not covered in the examination study.

The things that are not disseminated are what you need to centralize your time. Reducing the amount of information you need to study during the week leading up to the exams allows you extra time to focus on more difficult topics.

2. Stay Active and Eat.

Sitting on a couch with your favorite sweat may seem like the best way to learn it ... But no! Being too comfortable can easily lead to fatigue, pounding, and daydreaming. It's best to try to study while you are on your feet, notes in your hand, and review as you walk.

Find a clear class and use white boards for your benefit. Visuals (concept maps, diagrams, and graphs) can revitalize the research session, and give a bit of humor to the learning process.

Make sure to eat! Eating carbohydrates allows the brain to think more clearly, focus more, and not get tired. However, snacks may be inexpensive and may seem to save you time and money, they do nothing to help your brain retain information. Avoid processed and snack foods such as fast food restaurants, salty snacks, or sodas.

Pasta, sandwiches, milk, vegetables and fruits are wonderful sources of carbohydrates and should definitely be included in your diet when studying for exams. Especially the night before and also in the morning. Never learn to be hungry, it is impossible to focus as your stomach continues to flow on you! Then the mind is focused on wanting food and not on learning.

It's also very important that you sleep well. As a tired brain during exams will exponentially decrease the performance of your exams, even though it's okay and very common to pull everything lighter, make sure you set boundaries or take 30 minutes naps. Don't drink too much, sugar can cause your body to crash the next day, limit yourself to two drinks maximum, if not less.

It's also smart to get your body pumped and move before your test. Take the quick route. Studies show that exercise allows blood flow, allows your body to build adrenaline and also increases endorphin levels (in your body). It's also a great way to deal with anxiety and stress!

3. Know the Purpose:

Why did I learn this? We often get common symptoms called "excess information" while learning ... For that reason, it is often difficult to re-scan the material afterwards. Make sure you know the purpose of your study, what motivates you to continue?

- To know a specific concept or idea

- To better yourself in a certain area

- To find out why someone does certain things

- To answer any given academic study questions

Keeping the goals in mind as you learn drastically can help you focus on relevant information and remember them better.

There are many reasons why you might be studying something, so make sure you understand what you are thinking.

4. Study Before Going To Bed And Immediately After Exit

The best time to review or learn something is before going to bed and immediately when you wake up. Throughout the day the mind becomes overwhelmed with a lot of useless information and keeps trying and filtering out useful and valuable information and what's not.

Make sure you don't brush your teeth in the morning. Strange, but true studies show that when you brush your teeth, you tell your brain that you're ready to go. So your brain starts to rush when you try to learn, but in the end, you just want to see and try all the information at once.

This makes it easier for you to forget things. Imagine if you were asked what you did yesterday after a hard and difficult day you would have been able to answer? Yes, it's a lot like that. Before bed and after bed, your mind is refreshed and it also secretes some chemicals that can help make your memory more concrete.

5. Remember What You Know:

Try to spend 15 minutes reviewing what you've learned. If you use some of these methods, you will be amazed at how much you remember and will also increase your confidence in your ability to recall. This improves the entire process and you will work harder to get out of bed the next day and get back to work.
