11 Most Common Plastic Surgeries

Plastic surgery is not just for those who display these glossy magazines. They are also for those who look in the mirror and feel the need to change something out of place, deformed or damaged - some of which completely undermine their confidence.

Well, here are some of the most common plastic surgeries:

Liposuction

Liposuction is basically the removal of excess fat deposits using a tube inserted under the skin. Vacuum like a device is used to suck fat. This procedure is usually performed on the stomach, hips, thighs and upper arms. Recovery time is usually about six weeks.

Rhinoplasty

This procedure is often referred to as nose work. The nose is reshaped to make it bigger, smaller or narrower between the nostrils or changing the angle between the nose and upper lip.

Breast enlargement

This procedure is used to enlarge or give appropriate shape to the breast by using implants filled with saline or silicone. This surgery requires only a few days of recovery and is very popular among women.

Blind surgery

Loosening the upper eyelid or lower eyelid can be corrected with this technique technically referred to as blepharoplasty. Bags under the eyes are corrected by removing extra fat, muscle or skin. The recovery time for this surgery is about a week to ten days.

Tuck belly

Stomach is flattened and extra fat and skin removed. The abdominal muscles are then tightened. Patients need about two to six weeks to fully recover.

Lifting your face

The excess fat is removed and the muscles tightened and the skin reddened. The end result is tighter skin on the face and neck. Exposure to the sun must be avoided for several weeks after this surgery.

Dermabrasion

In this procedure, the surgeon uses a high-speed rotary tool to scrape the top layer of the skin leaving a softer and newer layer. Wrinkles and facial deformities are practically rubbed. Again, the recovery time is around two to six weeks.

The forehead lift

Lines and droops on the forehead are straightened by removing tissue and tightening the skin and muscles. This procedure takes one to three weeks to recover.

Hair transplant

Hair from the other part of the scalp - very easy to blend into bald areas. Eighteen months is required to fully restore hair.

Ear surgery

Very large or explosive ears from the forehead can be restored to position. The skin or cartilage of the ear is removed and the ear bent to bring it to the head. The head is then wrapped and the stitches are usually removed after a week.

Chin's upbringing

Growing Chin gives your face a sense of proportion. This includes inserting implants or changing the shape of the chin altogether.

If you have ever wondered how to fix some parts of your face, stomach or arm and other plastic surgeries there are a number of options to help you recover your physical beauty as well as your self-esteem and confidence.
