Polarity Therapy, Healing and Sexuality
So - Do sexuality, polarity therapy and healing have similarities? The immediate misunderstandings are that our sexuality (sexual behavior, sexual thoughts, internal visual image, sexual preference and preferences, body concept, stimulus pattern, desire level, etc.) can be separated from who we are, how we think and what happens physiologically in our body. The second misunderstanding is that healing occurs little by little, that we can "heal" or change one part of the body or one aspect of our mind-body without affecting each other. Our bodies are holograms, each part affects and reflects every other part. The third misunderstanding is the healing equivalent of perfection (perfect health, perfect relationship, perfect financial, perfect life). Our bodies are metaphors, physical representations of our thoughts, actions and ideas, revealing to us what we need to see, change or learn. I remember hearing about AIDS patients, upon their deaths, claiming they were "healing." They do not heal their physical bodies because they die. But they heal something - maybe their relationship, maybe they receive the love they always have, maybe realize their own loving potential, or maybe cure or relinquish their sense of dignity and superiority as mortal beings.
Touch Heals.
Touch is the first taste to develop and one of the last to fade. Touch triggers the release of endorphins, hormones that help control pain and make us feel better. In fact, there is one gene in our body, ornithisnecoborulase, that is only activated by touch.
Many studies on the effects of massage healing, conducted by the Touch Research Institute in Miami, Florida and elsewhere, by psychologist Tiffany Field, Ph.D. and colleagues have shown that contact lowers stress hormones and increases serotonin levels, which are just a lot of anti-depression drugs. Tightening of the touch (15 minutes, 3 times a week, for 5 weeks) has been shown to relieve and manage pain, increase circulation and breathing, lower heart rate and blood pressure, reduce anxiety and stress, increase flexibility, relaxation, energy and body awareness , improve mood, and also improve math performance. Studies at The Upledger Craniosacral Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, show that craniosacral therapy can help clients recover from post traumatic stress disorder, autism, migraines, and many other physical and psychological disorders.
Healing Sexuality.
In 1994, the 14th World Congress of Sociology adopted the Declaration on Sexual Rights, stating: "Sexual pleasure, including autoeroticism, is a source of physical, psychological, intellectual and spiritual well-being." (WAS, 1994. The Health Benefits of Sexual Expression, White Paper April 2003. Published by Katharine Dexter McCormick Library, American-designed Parenthood Foundation). Regular sexual activity has been shown to reduce anxiety and stress, improve fitness and stimulation of the brain, lower blood pressure, relieve pain, improve sleep, improve immunity, improve longevity, and enhance peak spiritual experiences.
Normal sexual reactions depend on the interaction of sensory stimulation (sight, sound, smell, taste and touch) and vascular and neuromuscular activity, precipitated and resolved by hormones and neurotransmitters. Sexual attraction, desire, stimulation, orgasm and tendency towards bondage result from a combination of delicate and fragile events.
Sexual desire is a mental-emotional event that can operate independently of our natural sexual function. In other words, our bodies may be able to have sex without our feelings or we may feel sexual desire without becoming
physiology is stimulating.
The essential hormones in the sexual response cycle are:
Attraction, Sexual Desire and Tendency towards Bondage
o DHEA - androgen precursors for testosterone, estrogen and pheromones that stimulate limbic stimulation in men and women
o Dopamine - located at the center of "mesolimbic" pleasure, is thought to enhance sexual response, bonding and monogamy
o Vasopressin - a hormone peptide, which is released to the brain during sexual reactions, enhances couples' bonding and aggression toward men.
It's refreshing
o Estrogen - lowers vaginal fag, increases lactobacillus (good bacteria, and increases blood flow but increased estrogen can lower sexual desire
o Progesterone - estrogen balance so that oxytocin can be high but possible
inhibits testosterone
o Testosterone - androgen, a threshold required for sexual arousal
o Choline - a precursor of acetylcholine neurotransmitter, essential for memory, muscle control and cardiovascular health, it transports sexual arousal messages to the genital artery and releases nitrous oxide (required for
penile erection and clitoral swelling
o Epinephrine and Norepinephrine - stress hormones, increase during sexual activity
Orgasm and Post-Orgasm Tendency toward Bonding
o PEA - an amphetamine-like stimulant that spikes levels in orgasm and ovulation and promotes feelings of love and affection
o Oxytocin - a grasping hormone, an orgasm in the body that leads to a break in orgasmic inertia that facilitates attraction, sensation and bonding
* Note - Effects increase with estrogen and yohimbine and decrease with alcohol
o Prolocation - released after orgasm to relax the body, inhibit appetite and sexual desire, stimulation and orgasm,
o Serotonin - creates a calming, vibrant, vibrant light after a good night's sleep and sleep
* Note - serotonin may inhibit dopamine release, reducing sexual overload
Drugs that increase serotonin are associated with delayed anorgas and ejaculation
o Endorphins - feel good hormones, relieve pain, stimulate the immune system
Healthy sexual function involves adequate nerve signals from the central nervous system and optimal balance in the autonomic nervous system, fluctuating between stress response (activation of the sympathetic nervous system) and relaxation response (activation of the parasympathetic nervous system).
Sexual stimulation (vaginal lubrication and penile erection) is a neuro-vascular event mediated by the autonomic nervous system. Adequate central nervous system stimulation triggers male erection reflexes in the S2, S3, and S4 uterine cord segments. Adequate parasympathetic stimulation induces smooth muscle relaxation and blood flow in the penis as well as swelling of the female vaginal tissue and lubrication.
Orgasm and ejaculation are neuromuscular events. They need sufficient stimulation of the central nervous system to trigger male ejaculation reflexes at various stages of spinal cord, receptors on the skin of the penis, firing of pudendal nerves resulting in penile urethral compression and rhythmic smooth muscle contraction and vascular refinement and women orgasmic reactions, similar reactions but more diffuse which can be mediated by the vagus nerve.
Polar Therapy Healing Therapy
Dr. Randolph Stone has developed a comprehensive healing system, Polarity Therapy, which helps us recognize, understand and implement the healing process internally and externally. Stone travels the world, collecting research and information on healing. He studied chiropractic theory and practice, naturopathy, osteopathy, homeopathy, ayurvedic, Traditional Chinese Medicine, energy healing including meridians and chakras, astrology, Vedic scriptures, ancient Hermetic philosophy, and other esoteric teachings and perspectives.
Dr. Stone sees the body with all its pain and pain and physical problems as a manifestation of our thoughts and beliefs, "As we think, so do we." He sees health as a life force and disease without interruption, without interruption and suppression of energetic flow. He sees our bodies and our lives, in fact the whole universe, as a hologram, intertwined and reflecting, "As above, as below, as within, as without." Dr. Stone teaches that healing takes place when the necessary changes and transformations occur, first in the subconscious and in the most delicate and less dense aspects of the energetic field and then slowly progressing into dense tissues and organ system. He teaches the profound effects and psychological meanings of the five tattvas or elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth).
Dr. Stone finds that the human field is influenced by everything that affects our senses (touch, sight, sound, taste and smell) as well as the ways in which we move or restrict our physical bodies and the ways in which we interact with our environment and everything in it (plants, animals, and humans). He also emphasized the continuous development and contraction of the yin and yang, which is reflected in the cycle of the universe, in our own bodies and in our interactions with the world and the people in it.
As polar therapists we know that our hands are the energy conductors, as we touch our customers 'bodies, they respond to our touch as well as to our awareness, and our clients' minds have their own intelligence and self-control capacity. Our client systems already know what they need for healing to happen. As practitioners, our job is to facilitate the introduction of this wonderful knowledge.
How Does Polar Therapy Help Customers With Relationships and Sexual Problems?
This article begins with some comments on the very negative effects researchers and therapists have found that more and more people, especially men, are becoming increasingly attached to internet pornography. Instead of addressing the problems of everyday life, the body's image is rather slim while calming the mind, anxiety, dissatisfaction and anxiety, acting as powerful stimuli as the most addictive drugs. At the same time, relationships are being ignored and weakened. Another outbreak in the country is the use of the right prescription drug for almost everything, from relieving pain to reducing anxiety, to reducing anxiety disorders. For sexual assault, men now have a small amount of pills to take in addition to equipment such as vacuum pumps and papavarine injections into the penis (regardless of the man's emotional and physical health, the quality of his movement or the content of his diet). Women are undergoing surgery for vaginal vestibulitis (vaginal inflammation) and the possibility of new pills to increase their sexual desire (regardless of their body function or relationship dynamics).
Polar therapists can have profound and life-changing effects on clients present with sexual and relationship issues. These clients usually do not understand the holographic interconnections between thoughts, feelings, physical activity, eating habits, emotional states and relationships. Starting with body observation, postural presentation, tone of voice, facial expression, muscle tension and emotional content of the client's story, polar therapists already have little understanding of the potential for underlying suppression. Following the intuitive know-how, the polar therapist can begin the process of touching the client and allowing the energy to release and flow. This natural process allows the pituitary gland to restore a balanced hormone and neurotransmitter flow.
During this process, the client may reveal some important or earlier life in this life of emotional or physical trauma, confusion, or unresolved dilemma. The therapist can tell which tattva is most unbalanced or which chakra is blocked. By listening attentively and with sincere intent to aid in the healing process, therapists can build trust and openness in clients.
Sexual issues are very personal, personal and often reveal shame, shame, humiliation, deviation, cognitive confusion or complete rejection. I highly recommend investing in some consultation sessions with certified and qualified sex therapists to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the client's depth of issues and how they can be handled. As a polar therapist, you can also work in conjunction with a sex therapist, provide insights into your emotions and energies and help clients open up enough in your session to bring them new material into psychotherapy sessions for greater exposure. .
Sex therapists typically do not use contact with their clients. They can encourage their customers to do homework that touches their sexual partner in the privacy of their own bedroom, but that touch is usually focused on sexual and sexual arousal. The touches used by polar therapists have different purposes and focus. Polar therapy touches the client to help energize the flow of the client's entire body. There is no agenda for this or that to happen. There is only the touch, the observation and the, at times encouraging, energy to move and flow where it needs to go.
