How to Lose a Fat Belly Overnight - Can it Be Done?

If you think it's possible to learn how to lose belly fat overnight, you may have been watching a lot of infomercials, and heard too many ads for "miracle weight loss". The truth is that there are no pills, no diets, no miracle food combination, and the exercise regime cannot teach you how to lose fat overnight. It can't be done (without surgery). But thankfully, there are things you can do get started all night!


  • Get your thoughts on the game. Every successful weight loss program starts with mental preparation. If you are serious about losing weight, make a conscious decision to do so, and ask the person you trust to make sure you are responsible for the decision.

  • Set realistic goals. If you've ever seen the "Biggest Loser" plan, you know it's physically impossible to lose more than 30lb in one week - and it's not healthy to do so.

  • Take off your closet. One trick to success in weight loss is to reduce the temptation you face, so eliminate snacks and sugary drinks in your home.

  • Decide on a workout plan. Get your planner or calendar, and slots in at least 3 different 30-minute blocks during your week dedicated to exercising. It's as easy as walking.

  • Buy, borrow, or provide some of the "tools" you will use for your weight loss journey, such as an iPod filled with peppy music, a luxurious new water bottle that you will carry with you everywhere (consuming plenty of water is essential for weight loss), or new clothes if you think that will help you go.

You can't lose belly fat all night, but you can decide to make a serious change in your lifestyle overnight. Losing weight, especially in your mid-teens, is one of the most important things you can do for yourself, so make the decision to MAKE this DAY!
