 Nutritional tips to reduce the weight of the nursing mother



I am a mother of three babies born in C-section, and I have a baby who is 1 and 4 months old and I am still breastfeeding and weighing (75 kilos and 165 years) wanting to have a healthy weight-loss diet that is appropriate for this stage?

This question is answered by Dr. Khaled Youssef, a nutritionist, obesity and thinness, member of the Egyptian Society for Obesity Studies, and a member of the American Society of Obesity: We must point out that breastfeeding increases the rate of fat burning by about (500:400 calories) per day, so the lady in If she wants to lose weight, she will first perform an analysis of the burn rate so that the diet does not affect breastfeeding and the amount of milk, and in general there are some nutritional tips that can be followed at this stage, which help to generate milk well without leading to weight gain, which is :

1- Attention to drinking liquids such as anise, mint, fenugreek, chamomile, which works to generate milk well and is recommended to eat them instead of canned or natural juices because of the high heat prices of these juices, it is also recommended to eat fruits in their solid form and not in the form.
2- Take care to eat boiled vegetables and saut├ęs instead of eating vegetables added to it amusing or oil and from the good vegetables for this stage are carrots, beans and okra.
3- The need to eat a plate of green salad daily.
4- Attention to the daily protein serving, which ranges from (20%:25%) of the amount of food and its diversification between plant and animal protein.
5- Do not eat too much carbohydrates and do not mix them with fats or sugars.
6- Walking on a daily basis.
7- Drink 8:7 glasses of water daily.
