Nordic Diet and Its Benefits

Nutritionists are busy with Nordic diets. As the name implies, the Nordic diet is made up of locally sourced foods and is commonly eaten in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

Normally, the Nordic diet includes cereals such as rye, barley, and oats; fruit and other fruits; especially cabbage and vegetables such as potatoes and carrots; fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, and herring; and nuts (nuts and nuts).

• A major study by the World Health Organization (WHO) found that Mediterranean and Nordic diets reduce the risk of cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

• Nutrition can also contribute to weight loss. A study by the University of Eastern Finland also found that a reduced diet controls the expression of inflammation-related genes, which are thought to contribute to many chronic health problems and play a role in obesity.

• Processed foods are more appropriate, resulting in overweight and obesity. Because Nordic foods de-emphasize processed foods, they prevent overweight and obesity.

• Eating more plant-based diets is better for the environment because of the lower greenhouse gas emissions. About 14.5% of greenhouse gas emissions come from livestock production. It has been reported that factory farming for meat production contributes more to global warming than all aircraft, cars, buses and cars combined.
