KISS Diet: The Only Diet You'll Ever Need

So, here's the problem. You look like millions of people enjoying the holidays and what with all the calories, calories, and calories that are rich in calories that you consume in pounds. You may be able to complete it as soon as the second January launches, you will lose weight. Well the second of January has come and gone. You feed your diet but after a few days you quit and you get back two or three pounds you lost.

You have tried every existing weight loss plan and have never had a lasting decision. You've seen your ad on TV and the internet. You read magazine articles about losing weight and watching celebrities dismiss their stuff. Weight loss programs run the gamut from fast, clean, detox to Paleo, high carb and low carb. What should a person do? Why can't I lose weight? If I can find food I can live and really enjoy eating food.

There is such a diet! I call him K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Diet Diet. You see most every diet out there is doomed to failure. Why not? Because to lose weight and stay away, you need an easy-to-follow, easy-to-use diet plan, using regular daily ingredients, that will not break your food budget and you will enjoy eating.

Most diets out there call for expensive, unfamiliar foods and / or require long preparation times. Using exotic herbs with unusual tastes may be fine when you are challenging but not as a natural addition to your diet. A kiss. Diet uses regular, everyday foods, if you will, and some simple principles.

Now I'm not a doctor or a dietitian I'm just an ordinary guy, who with his wife tried almost everything under the sun to lose weight and fail! Finally a few years ago I saw all the top weight loss programs and took the common elements they shared and developed my own system that worked for my family. This is not a problem you can buy. I don't have a book, DVD, or meal plan to sell you. As I said this is a Keep It Simple Silly Plan that I share easily. So without further ado here is the main thing.

1. Start daily with a lean protein breakfast. It can be an egg. I like my stew. But some wheat toast with peanut butter, plain yogurt with no fruit or smoothie.

2. Lunch is salad or vegetable soup.

3. Protein meat dinner is either meat or vegetarian.

4. Snacks: Fruits, low-fat cheese, a handful of nuts, non-normal yogurt, olives, Hummus, etc.

5. Drink plenty of water.

6. Avoid sugar in all its forms.

7. Don't eat any white food.

8. Eliminate processed foods from your diet.

9. Move! Walk, walk, walk! Enter five or ten minutes of some type of exercise daily.

10. Get enough sleep!

Now I admit that there is nothing new in this plan. You may even know all of this before you read this article. But sometimes with all the hype out there about losing weight and new diets we forget the simple truth about eating. This truth is "All in simplicity." You probably remember your Momma saying this, right?

My point in trying to impress you with my diet is to help you refocus and remind you that you don't have to spend a bucket of money, drive around the city looking for weird food or spend time in the kitchen serving unfamiliar food. The solution is always right in front of you in your fridge and pantry. So take advantage of the simple principles above and make sure you are going to lose weight over time and keep it well!
