Losing Weight Without Becoming Anorexic

The mass media often post the stereotypical picture that beautiful women have slender bodies. This thin body concept is built on advertising and film and it leads women to try many things to get that kind of body. Well, there is nothing wrong with wanting a slim body while it is safely approached. Taking exercise and eating healthy foods are some good examples that can lead to weight loss. Unfortunately, many women often adopt risky behaviors that could endanger their bodies. One of the risky ways to try to achieve that slim image can be anorexic. Anorexia is an eating disorder that mostly affects women. A person suffering from anorexia will consciously limit their intake of food. After they eat, they deliberately clean the food with vomiting. Anorexists believe that they are overweight even though they are very thin. This distorted body image makes them maintain their poor eating habits to stay slim. Because the effects of anorexia can be serious, losing weight in a healthy way can be a wise choice. Here are some healthy ways to lose weight without becoming anorexic:

1. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Plenty of water is essential to get rid of toxins in the body. In addition, water also helps improve metabolism. When your metabolism is higher, your body will burn more fat.

2. The next thing to do is exercise to burn calories. It is recommended that you perform simple movements such as stretching or knocking your feet after sitting for hours. Exercising harder is also good for burning fat. You can enroll in fitness classes or do simple exercises like walking distance.

3. It's better to have dinner before 6pm. These eating habits help you reduce the risk of maintaining high levels of fat in your body. If you usually eat after 6pm, it may be difficult for you to change this habit. Support from family and friends can be very rewarding to have a healthy eating habit. Family and friends can remind you of your new diet and help you maintain it.

4. Finally, consult a doctor about your weight loss project. Your doctor will recommend the best way to lose weight and monitor the program.

Ideal weight needs to be achieved in steps gradually. You have to be patient during the process and believe that gradually losing weight will be more beneficial to your body. To succeed in losing weight, maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid shortcuts that may be detrimental to your health.
