Does Helicobacter Pylori Infection Cause Psoriasis?

One of my best friends has a classic case of psoriasis. Her psoriatic rash covers the face and scalp, trunk, arms and legs. Her story is important because she almost completely overcomes her psoriasis by simply eliminating her digestive tract infections, eating a "rotating diet" and detoxifying her body completely.

Psoriasis can be a very bad inflammatory skin disease. It affects 1-3% of the Caucasian population and can affect their quality of life.

There are many variations in the severity of the situation from person to person. Psychological rash can affect daily activities and social life, so it can be very unpleasant.

Many leading authorities are of the opinion that psoriasis is not a skin disease at all. Instead, it reflects that the body reacts to something else - usually something inside the body that should not be there. In fact, it is now agreed that the disease is actually a reaction to inflammation.

It has been suggested that H pylori infection may be one of the organisms capable of triggering the inflammatory response known as psoriasis.

In my experience, I also think that some viruses, bacteria, parasites and other fungal organisms can trigger the kind of inflammatory response that leads to not only psoriasis, but other skin disorders as well.

Worms such as Ascaris, Strongyloides, worms, worms and flat worms such as liver flukes can contribute to skin problems. My friend kicked out a 12-inch tapeworm and was fuming while cleaning his parasite.

Microscopic parasites such as Giardia lamblia, Blastocystis, Entamoeba histolytica and Cryptosporidium can also cause problems. For example, Giardia is known to cause hives (urticarial).

Feelings of yeast and fungal growth such as Candida, Rhodotorula & Geotrichum can certainly cause skin problems. Dandruff, itchy jocks and toenails are well-known examples.

Research has shown a strong association between Helicobacter pylori and rosacea as well as urticaria. Although no research has linked H pylori with psoriasis, some studies seem to indicate association.

A recent study found that the prevalence of H pylori was significantly higher in psoriasis patients than in those without disease. Of course, this does not prove that H pylori causes psoriasis, but it does indicate association. In addition, several studies have shown an increase in psoriatic patients when bacterial H pylori is successfully eradicated.

You will remember that I mentioned my friend Chris at the beginning of this article. Well Chris worked with the same Functional Medicine doctor who was my mentor while I was studying this job.

My friend worked under this doctor for over twelve months, following a strict diet, avoiding gluten, milk, sugar and alcohol, eliminating parasites and working to remove toxins such as mercury from the body.

After twelve months, with more energy and stamina, better sleep and mood, his skin was almost cleaned and in his words he was a "novice".

This case serves as a valuable lesson because psoriasis is not really psoriasis! On the contrary, it is just a symptom that describes what is going on in the body.

Skin lotions and anti-inflammatory creams will not cure my friend's skin, because the skin is not where the problem lies! Instead, the root is inside and inside the body and the skin reflects only the internal imbalance.

In our practice, we have seen many clients experience skin loss or disappear dramatically as they change their diet, producing chronic digestive infections that support their detoxification process.

Psoriasis is not a skin disease. It is a reflection of what is going on internally. As a result, to combat psoriasis it is important to address your diet and lifestyle by eliminating snacks and intolerant foods and then conducting tests for digestive infections and removing bacteria, parasites and yeasts if necessary. It is also important to carefully detoxify your body.

Basically, what you are doing is removing everything from your body that should not be there. When this is accomplished, your body does not have to remain alert. This reduces inflammation and the health conditions associated with inflammation are almost guaranteed to improve, including psoriasis.
