Ginkgo Biloba - Thousands of Years of Healing

Ginkgo Biloba is a natural herbal extract that is believed to have nootropic or cognitive properties in humans. Gingko, along with aniracetam, piracetam, phenibut and others have been widely tested with mixed results and are sometimes incomplete. However, the desired benefits make Ginkgo and other nototropic popular with many segments of the population.

Ginkgo trees have been growing in China and other locations for thousands of years and have documented cases of trees that last for 3,000 years. Ginkgo grains are considered a specialty in Chinese cuisine but they are a desirable leaf as a herbal health supplement. Extracts from this leaf are found in both powders for and, more often, in capsule form. It has also been used as a substance in some skin cleansers.

Studies have shown that using Ginkgo improves brain circulation and promotes a sense of well-being. Better understanding, memory, and concentration are also associated with supplements to this product. Patients with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's and vertigo have also benefited from this herb.

Our experience also shows that athletes look for Ginkgo for its ability to prevent the destruction of cells from weight training and improve blood flow during the activity.

But the most desired effect our customers are looking for is the anti-aging effect of Ginkgo extract. Come to think of it, the tree almost screams long. It lives for thousands of years, is almost completely resistant to disease and cannot be destroyed by insects or pests. In fact, three Gingko trees survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in 1945 while almost every other form of life was destroyed.
