Study warns of underlying health risks in vegetables and fruits

A study published in the journal Le Novell Observer warned of the health risks inherent in the food we eat even though it is outside the banned list.

The study, which analyzed a sample of healthy food approved by the French Ministry of Health, included 5 fruits of vegetables, fruits and 3 dairy products, taking into account the amount of salt, fat and sugar, monitored 128 chemical residues, including 47 carcinogens.

François Fioret, the official spokesman for the Association of Future Generations, said that what is alarming is not the presence of so many pollutants, but in the presence of this dangerous type of them, as laboratory analysis has shown that "salmon" contains traces of DDT, the banned pesticide in the world. It's all been 40 years.

Pesticide residues from parasites were also discovered on apples from Brazil, green beans from Kenya, Italian tomatoes, Spanish peaches, Argentine lemons, and, last but not least, basmati rice grown in Asia.

The study showed that these toxins are not only found in foods, but extend to plastic casings. Their harm to public health is compounded by their cumulative factor, known as the "cocktail effect".
