Lack of sleep hours in teenagers leads to Obesity

A recent study suggests that teenagers who are in a hurry and overlook the quality of their food accept foods that lead to obesity.

The study indicated that adolescents who do not sleep at least eight hours consume more carbohydrates and high calories, compared to their peers who sleep eight hours a day or more.

The study explained this by comparing sleep deficiency to obesity in this age period.

The study confirmed the extreme importance of sleep for sufficient hours. The study was published September 1 in the Journal Sleep Journal.
