How do I overcome weight gain in Ramadan?
I am overweight during the early days of Ramadan, is there a weight-loss diet?
Dr. Mustafa Sari, consultant on obesity and nutrition, answers this question, saying: "You can follow a dietary program to get rid of excess weight during Ramadan, but it is recommended to see a doctor before starting any dietary program if you are suffering from a disease."
A week-long diet consisting of a cup of skimmed soup with a steak or a quarter of a chick can be followed along with a green salad, vegetables and two tablespoons of rice, and between iftar and suhoor fruit fruit, while suhoor is a quarter of a loaf with a boiled egg and 5 tablespoons of quraysh cheese and cucumber.
The second day is a two-part breakfast with half a kilo of kebabs, a kofta and a green salad, and between iftar and suhoor soda diet, and suhoor two cups of yogurt with cucumber in any quantity.
The third day is half a cup of Qamaruddin juice with a kilo of grilled or boiled fish with a green salad, and between iftar and lemon suhoor without sugar, suhoor, yogurt cups and cucumber.
The fourth day is a relief from the system and the fifth day repeats the first day and the sixth day repeats the second day and the seventh day repeats the third day.
